What’s Next

The design of the scheme is continually evolving, and the final proposals will take into consideration the feedback received from this consultation exercise. A formal planning application will be made in Autumn 2025.

A Statement of Community Involvement will be available to view as part of the submission documents on South Tyneside Council’s website upon submission of the planning application. The Statement will set out an analysis of feedback received and any changes made to the scheme as a result of this consultation.
